The world's most dramatic tempests: 160 years of Earth's sea storms visualized in stunning 3D tool

San Francisco-based web developer Callum Prentice created the beautiful sliding scale of Earth's 9,150 storms
The spinning globe which can be paused, and the dates changed, show where the tempests have hit since 1851
Users can additionally search for certain storms by name and the strength of storms can be selected on a slider
