Clear blue skies and sunshine!

We had quite a bit of heavy rain last night, but this morning its a lot brighter with a lot more blue sky.

Just had a very heavy shower.....the run continues

Had some really big showers this evening, and some lightning and thunder, although not the same as havingnthen imported storms from the continent. Strange there has been no weather warnings from the met despite the local flooding.
Looking at the radar we have been very unlucky, the showers have been concentrated on the same areas, SW England have a weather warning but there is very little shower activity going by the radar!

Back to the typical west coast mist and drizzle today while the rest of the country bathes in sunshine

Finally the sun has appeared since we returned from Scotland. Feeling a lot warmer too

Cloudy morning in Essex, but a lot warmer than up north. Well at least it's not raining.
