No real sign of anything colder Morticia, however it does look as though the atlantic may run out of puff for a while at the begining of December which may give colder / quieter conditions a chance to settle in...........................meanwhile, were not out of the woods yet, Saturdays storm has now turned into Sundays.

Northern England look likely to see the brunt of the winds, the pennines my tip fo rthe highest gusts. Latest Fax chart illustrates it well, closer the lines the stronger the winds...

Warnings currently being updated. It does look as, after removing any warning for central and northern areas for Sunday, the Met are re-introducing them........it'll be very interesting to see what they make of Wednesday/Thursday.
